A ‘hold’ has been placed on rooms at a nearby hotel, the Ramada Windham Hotel, with discounted rates though, as in Birmingham, participants will be expected to make their own arrangements for booking an paying for their accommodation as well as for travel. For bookings, the hotel will take a card guarantee at the time of booking, then payment on arrival. (NB. We recognise that plans change – guests of the hotel will be able to cancel their individual bookings until 72 hours prior to arrival if this was necessary. Also, please be aware that there is currently a Wyndham members promo on those dates which you’ll see via the link as well. This has a slightly higher discount so guests are welcome to book that as well. It’s just a non-refundable or transferable booking so there would be payment at booking and no cancellation but it gives an extra option there too.)
In addition, there is a large number of hotels ranging from budget 2* and 3* options through to boutique and luxury 4* and 5* accommodation throughout the city centre. We are confident that the range of accommodation options will suit all budgets. However, except for the Ramada Hotel, so as to leave choice with our participants, we have not earmarked or taken options on these other hotels. Hence, conference participants are invited to use standard search engines such as Trivago and Trip Advisor to book their accommodation.
